Scholarship Auditions

This year's scholarship auditions will be much as they have been performed in the past with the exception that instead of performing live for a panel of adjudicators,

students will submit a video of their performance.

That video will be evaluated by the panel of adjudicators online, ratings & feedback will be provided, and awards made.

  • Performances must be between 5 and 10 minutes in length.  Disqualification will occur for performances that are longer or shorter than that.

  • Scholarship performances will be considered in one of seven categories:  Brass, Woodwind, String, Percussion, Voice, Piano or Jazz.

  • Performances may be of any appropriate repertoire except the current audition piece for the instrument or voice part.  Multiple pieces may be performed to meet the time requirements.

  • Performances may use live accompaniment, recorded accompaniment or no accompaniment.

  • Performances must be done from memory.

  • Video recordings will be accepted during both audition upload windows.  Dress appropriately.
