17th Annual IAJE - Flynn Center Jazz Festival

This adjudication festival is designed for high school jazz ensembles and offers:

30 minute performance opportunities on the Flynn Main Stage or FlynnSpace
The chance to hear many of Vermont's finest high school jazz ensembles in performance
Written and taped adjudication of each group's performance by three jazz educators
A short clinic with each group immediately following their performance conducted by one of the adjudicators
An afternoon workshop by jazz flautist Ali Ryerson on jazz improvisation and performance
An evening concert that features two of the finest high school jazz ensembles from Vermont AND
A performance by the Vermont Jazz Ensemble featuring our jazz flautist Ali Ryerson
The festival is funded in part by a festival fee paid by each group and by the
