HOME | Info CenterSubmission GuidelinesThe Vermont Music Educator is a publication for the music teachers of Vermont. As such, its content is meant to enlighted, assist, or entertain readers by offering thought-provoking and helpful ideas related to music. Submission of pertinent articles is encouraged. While a list of possible topics would be exhaustive, a few ideas include: standards and assessment, classroom management, or reflections on teaching practice. The journal also publishes recurring columns focusing on recommended literature for ensembles, ideas that work, and product reviews. VMEA assumes no responsibility for the individual opinions expressed in articles. Please note that submissions may be edited for grammar, clarity, and length.
Electronic submission of articles, photos, and advertisements is encouraged. Please be aware that large attachments (greater than 2 MB) may need to be sent via CD due to server limitations. Publication of articles and/or photos is at the discretion of the editor. In order to reproduce well, photographs should have good contrast. Please note that this publication is black and white. Advertisers should consult the advertising ratesheet for current prices. The editor will consider special placement requests but reserves the right to make final decisions about ad placement based on layout and design considerations. | ||
